"Yacht" Architectural Landmark

Phase I, Zone C of the Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex covers an area of 78,000 square meters and was collaboratively designed by the internationally renowned firms, Ole Scheeren from the UK and VP Architecture from France. The design inspiration for this area comes from yachts docked at a marina, creatively integrating the thematic narrative of "A Fragrant Journey" into the architectural style. This approach imbues each space with rich meaning and character.

In terms of spatial design, the architects have optimized and upgraded the details, incorporating artistic installations that not only enhance the aesthetic value of the space but also integrate seamlessly with the consumer experience, allowing visitors to enjoy art while they shop.

The Central Plaza is a vivid representation of the interplay between the architectural elements within the complex, cleverly connecting the "coastline" into a colorful, fluid space. The large overhanging eaves facing the plaza gently create expansive transitional spaces, providing ample room for brand events, fashion shows, and scenic viewing. This design also conveys a sense of positive and uplifting energy.

Zone C of Phase I of the Sanya International Duty-Free Shopping Complex combines shopping experiences with tourism and cultural elements. Through thoughtful spatial planning, environmental design, and the integration of cultural elements, it creates a unique and attractive commercial atmosphere. This innovative approach enhances the overall visitor experience, making the area a vibrant and engaging destination for both shoppers and tourists.
